How To Get Help
People to People assists thousands of Rockland households that need help in meeting basic needs.
Anyone who walks into People to People in search of immediate food assistance will receive an emergency food package with three days of non-perishable food items.
An appointment is not necessary when you first come in to sign up for services. Please bring identification for all household members to maximize the amount of food we are able to provide on your first visit. For adults, please bring a valid picture ID. For children, birth certificates or medical insurance ID cards showing the child’s name and date of birth are acceptable.
Those in need of additional assistance and who could benefit from all of the People to People programs – Food Pantry, Back to School with Dignity, Project Joy, and Joy Store – are encouraged to register for services.
Registration for ongoing monthly services and additional programs will involve verification of household members, income and residence in Rockland County.
The hours our Food Pantry provides food assistance services:
Monday 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
