Feeding Rockland's Hungry

It’s Time To Talk Turkey at People to People!

People to People - Rockland County’s largest hunger relief nonprofit organization - will provide a turkey and all the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to more than 1,200 low-income Rockland families this November. 

 

We’re going to need your help!

 

When out shopping for your own Thanksgiving feast, please consider purchasing a few of the following items and donating them to People to People:

 

Frozen Turkeys

Potatoes (fresh or instant)

Sweet Potatoes or Yams (fresh or canned)

Stuffing

Canned Corn and Canned String Beans

Gravy

Cranberry Sauce

Pie Crust and Pie Filling

 

Food donations can be dropped off at PtoP’s Food Pantry located at 121 West Nyack Road on  Monday through Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

 

PtoP will be open on Saturday and Sunday - November 13th & 14th and November 20th & 21st  - from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to accept food donations.

 

Financial contributions will also support PtoP’s Talk Turkey efforts.

 

A donation of $50 will provide a turkey and all the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving feast for a family of four.

COVID-19 UPDATE

As a result of the increased need for food assistance resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, PtoP is no longer accepting clothing.

Please consider contacting GOODWILL located in 130 West Route 59 Nanuet, NY 10954 for all clothing donations.

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!

Right now, nearly 5,000 Rockland residents count on People to People for help in putting food on their tables every month.

Five thousand people.  Every month.

Please help us assure the ability of People to People to put food on the tables of struggling families, children, seniors, veterans and so many of the most vulnerable among us.
