Feeding Rockland's Hungry
As a result of the increased need for food assistance resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, PtoP is no longer accepting clothing.
Please consider contacting GOODWILL located in 130 West Route 59 Nanuet, NY 10954 for all clothing donations.
WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!
A thrill of hope fills the hearts of
all of us at People to People!
This December, PtoP provided 2,000 struggling families with monthly food packages -
that’s 180,000 meals for more than 6,000 people in just one month.
This December, PtoP provided nearly 1,500 children with gift cards for the holidays.
A weary world rejoices!
People to People has successfully made it through 2020 - the year of COVID-19 that
brought one challenge after the next. PtoP’s ability to provide food and other support to our neighbors in need would not have been possible without the the extraordinary support of PtoP’s donors, the extraordinary efforts of PtoP’s volunteers and staff and the extraordinary relationships PtoP has with our community including houses of worship, civic organizations,
elected officials and more. Yes, 2020 has been a challenging year and we’re a little weary! So...
People to People will be closed from December 23rd to January 4th.
May the New Year bring us all that we dream!
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
Rockland County has declared a state of emergency in an effort to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to protect the health of county residents.
As a result, The People to People Food Pantry is open to its clients with food pick-up appointments and those in need of emergency food.
The People to People Administrative Offices are closed to the public until April 30th
The People to People Food Pantry will remain open ONLY to PtoP clients with food appointments, volunteers and staff.
In order to provide our neighbors in need with the food assistance they so urgently require while minimizing the potential spread of the virus, People to People is revising its food distribution system to feature curb-side delivery of food packages to its clients.
The health and safety of our clients, volunteers and employees is our top priority. We will continue to follow the guidance of local, state, and federal health officials and will adjust our service delivery to clients as necessary.
People to People takes its responsibility to Rockland’s struggling families and others that count on PtoP for help in putting food on their tables.
During this crisis, PtoP is going to need more help to make this happen.
But we can’t postpone the purchase of food because we can’t postpone feeding people.
Please consider making a financial contribution now to support the critical work of PtoP during this time of crisis and always.
