Help From People to People, Inc. serves families and individuals in Rockland County that need help when times get tough.
While all of our projects require funding, there are several projects that require volunteers to make them happen.
How can you help your Rockland County neighbors
- Back to School with Dignity - Throughout the summer months, volunteers are needed to hold school supply drives and collections.
During the last two weeks of August, help is needed at People to People to sort and organize the school supplies and assist with distribution.
- Santa Project - Hundreds of families are needed to "adopt" families in need and help the most vulnerable children in Rockland County have a memorable holiday. Call or email us for a letter.
Other ways to help include: holding a holiday toy drive, helping in our office during November and December, and helping with gift collection and distribution in December. Call or email us to volunteer.
- Computer Recycling
- Dress Barn Clothes Closet - Volunteers help to sort and organize the clothing, accessories and sundries.
- Help from People to People, Inc. always needs:
- Non-perishable food
- Diapers
- Formula
- Toiletries
- Food Pantry - Volunteers help sort food, stock shelves and organize items. Volunteers also help to pack grocery bags for distribution. Extra hands are always needed around the holidays.
- donations of food are welcome, but we ask that you contact us first so that we can control the inventory and nothing goes to waste.

- Clerical Help - Our office staff appreciates extra hands for mailings, (stuffing, folding, copying) ... help make a difference. To volunteer, please call or email us.
